Outstanding bike

"5 star bike for under $1k. The only facet of this setup I couldn't appreciate was the burlap canvas saddle (ouch). Every other feature made this bike a steal for the sale price. I appreciated the professional setup at a local bike shop as well. Thanks Public!"

Great for the money

"Great bike for the money. Looks good with a retro feel. Love the "cobalt" color, actually more of a deep teal"

Bike Path Royalty

"I've been riding this bike for about 4 years on the East Bay Bike Path in Prov. RI. I bought it specifically for the bike path. I changed up all the touch points, peddles, seat, handlebar, grips which is what I do with every bike. I like riding upright and it is comfortable. I added a Brooks springer saddle (comfort) and all the bells and whistle desired for city riding. I ride it 20 miles a day every day so I wanted 2 water bottles. It's a perfect bike for my use. It climbs hills very well, is sturdy yet not heavy. I love the rapid fire shifter and change gears constantly. You can change gears without your hand leaving the bar grips still feeling secure. I hammer it up the hills and beyond tightening a few bolts here and there no issues. It's quick on the start and I can easily swing and reposition the bike when stationary at a set of lights, cars block your path and what not. I did live in a third floor apartment and its light enough to throw on your shoulder and huff it up the stairs. I do recommend this bike. Its all around a great bike."

David (5/5)

Great bike, interesting shipping.

"Finally found a nicely designed bike small enough for a shorty like me. Purchased the cream color when it was on sale. I've purchased other Public bikes which were shipped/delivered by UPS (inside apt bldg) and they were quick (2-3 days from CA to Seattle) in excellent condition. This fully assembled bike was shipped/delivered using "Kitzuma" by a guy in a yellow Penske rental boxcar truck without the pedal wrench and 3-way allen wrench (I have extras so not a problem for me)."

Mildred (3/5)

The bike has a nice clean and active appearance without being overstated. I especially like its complementing cream colored frame and chrome colored fenders."

"I love this bike! The bike came almost completely assembled, so I just needed to put together the handlebars, pedals, and reflectors. The bike is light, and the seat is comfortable."
