A bike that fits properly is more fun to ride. The guides below offer size suggestion based on height in inches. If you have measuring tape, you may also determine your size by measuring your leg length plus one inch, which is your stand over measurement. "It's all very marvelous; one of my thoughts would be to have some handlebar options that would have a wider or more beach bike sort of position for more comfortable shoulder and arm positions. Also, I was surprised at how very hard the seat was . . . although lovely in leather. The mechanics of the bike and its engineering is spot on."

"I really love Public for this -- I'm pretty sure it took less than a week for the bike to arrive from the time I made the order. I've rarely had such quick turnaround and the bike is cute af. I opted to assemble myself and forgo the $99 fee, and while it was a little intimidating at first, I was able to get everything together without too much trouble. They even included touch up paint in case I chip or scrape my new-bike paint job. (I'll admit I did have a local tune-up shop check my work and they commented the bike and components are really nice, especially for the price. ) For the first time since I was seven years old, I have a new bike and it's been a game changer. However, if you have to go up and down hills and over bumps in the road, the handlebars are a bit too relaxed for the extra control needed.
