Perfect!
"This bike is perfect for my six year old daughter. Beautiful color and style and she is able to keep up with the rest of the family!"
A bike that fits properly is more fun to ride. The guides below offer size suggestion based on height in inches. If you have measuring tape, you may also determine your size by measuring your leg length plus one inch, which is your stand over measurement. For all bikes, we recommend at least 1 inch of space between you and the top tube of the bike. For children’s bikes, smaller bikes are always easier for beginners.

| Sprout C 16", C 20" |
| Frame Size | Rider Age | Effective TT | Saddle Adjustment |
| Small/Medium (16") - 240mm | 5-8 | 400mm | 20"-26" |
| Medium/Large (20") - 260mm | 7-10 | 450mm | 23"-29" |
*Please note: some riders may be a little outside of these height range recommendations but prefer the feel of a larger or smaller bike. Stand over height measurement is not as important as how the bike geometry feels while it is being ridden.
The PUBLIC Sprout is our incredibly fun new kids bike for city kids ready to hit the road on their first big kid bicycle. Just like our best-selling PUBLIC C model, the Sprout C 20 features a curving step-through Dutch bike design, with a low standover height to make getting on and off a breeze, and a relaxed, upright riding position
Parents love the simple, stylish, durable design, with no cables to get tangled, and real quality bike parts that are safer and longer lasting that anything you'll find in the toy store. We designed these bikes with our own kids in mind, with dependable construction to last through lots of rough and tumble and hand-me-downs. Naturally we included all the great features of grown-up PUBLIC bikes, like the matching fenders and chainguard, and comfortable brown vinyl seat and grips. The single-speed rust-resistant chain and quality coaster brake are the simplest to learn, don't need much maintenance, and make stopping just as fun as going.
For kids who haven't already learned on a balance bike, we recommend teaching balancing first by leaving the pedals off and the seat low. Then after balance is mastered, add the pedals and raise the seat to start riding with confidence. The 20" size can accommodate training wheels (not included) and comes with a kickstand for easy parking on the playground.
You'll receive a partially assembled bike delivered to your door with simple instructions and tools to complete the finishing steps. And our "Love at First Ride" Guarantee means your little one will get the bike they love, no matter what.

"This bike is perfect for my six year old daughter. Beautiful color and style and she is able to keep up with the rest of the family!"
"We bought it for our daughter and loved it. One recommendation is that the lights that come in the box both front and back could not be put on it. Also make sure to tighten the pedals and so on, because my daughter had a pedal come loose while riding, nothing serious, but to help. The design is a hit."
"This is a well-made, sturdy bike. Super cute design & perfect for our 6-year old. Nice kickstand, and easy to put together. Slightly big, but the handlebars adjust down and the step-through design makes it easy for our daughter to get on/off the bike. Pairs perfectly with the Kid's basket & classic bell."
"So far, so good."
"Very fast shipping, very good value for money, hoping my daughter likes her Christmas present."
"It’s a very nice bike. I wish there was a bit more transparency around the bike purchase process. I also personally think it’s a tad expensive for a kids bike but we shall see if it can really hold up to my kid"
"Just gave the bike to my daughter for her birthday. Its a beautiful bike, however the only issue was a puncture / tear in the front bike tire and tube. Both the tire and tube had a half-inch long tear, that must have occurred during shipping or disassembly before shipping. I patched the tube so that she could ride it immediately, but could we please get a replacement tire and tube shipped to us as this is the only flaw on an otherwise great product, and it occurred before we opened the box?"
"so beautiful"
"Nice bike, delivered quickly fairly easy to assemble. Unfortunately..bike had a dent in back fender."
"Love this bike.! It’s for my daughters Christmas present and we just also purchased the Cooper bell and Basket."
